The end of 2018 is bringing some positive changes to Pain Relief Centers that will greatly enhance the pain care we offer you. We are pleased to announce our partnership with Physician Partners of America (PPOA), a well-established healthcare provider based in Tampa.
This alliance, which took effect Dec. 3, offers you the same exceptional care you have come to expect at Pain Relief Centers, plus a wider range of services and a better patient experience.
Laser spine procedures
We now offer minimally invasive neck and back treatments to treat stubborn pain. These procedures are laser-assisted for precision, use muscle-sparing techniques for a speedy recovery, and are performed outpatient – you walk out the same day.
Our recent move from Pinellas Park to 5767 49th Street in St. Petersburg will allow us to expand West Park Surgery Center and add new doctors. By joining forces with PPOA, we are adding pain relief clinics and outpatient surgery in Hillsborough and Manatee counties.
Meet our New Physicians
Dr. Thanh Le will continue to serve patients at our new St. Petersburg location along with some exceptional new physicians:
Located in our St. Petersburg office, Dr. Guirguis is double board-certified by the American Board of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation and the American Board of Pain Medicine. His special interests include chronic pain, fibromyalgia, sports injuries, arthritis, spasticity, electrodiagnostics and discogenic diagnostic procedures. He has additional training in performing kyphoplasty, a process that relieves pain from spinal compression.
Also located in St. Pete, Dr. Otero is board-certified in Pain Medicine by the National Board of Physicians and Surgeons. His practice mainly focuses on minimally invasive procedures, physical therapeutic modalities and medication management in the treatment of chronic pain. He believes in taking a comprehensive therapeutic approach, utilizing interdisciplinary treatment and multi-modal therapies.
Based in our Sun City Center location, Dr. Cases is fellowship-trained in Pain Medicine. He turned to this field after practicing clinical neurology for a decade. His unique background gives him a comprehensive perspective that includes medication management, interventional procedures and functional restoration. He is highly experienced in using spinal cord stimulation, EMG/nerve conduction studies to detect pinched nerves, and radiofrequency ablation (RFA).
We look forward to offering you a new level of pain care in the New Year. Call now for a same-day appointment at 866-572-4655.
